" Spring Cleanse, Hopes, and Joy " Day on Sunday, March 24th, 2024
10.30 am -15.30 pm. Contribution £55

Spring offers an ideal opportunity to prioritize liver health. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Wood element represents spring, embodying the Liver and Gallbladder. The Liver regulates the flow of qi, blood, energy, and emotions, as well as clarity of vision and the ability to plan. The Gallbladder aids in decision-making, and facilitates the realization of plans initiated by the Liver. In our session, we'll focus on nurturing the Liver and Gallbladder to support the body's natural processes of digestion and detoxification. The session will include practices to balance energy flows, twists and lateral stretches to release sluggishness and find new energy. You'll have the opportunity to relax into restorative postures, complementing the dynamic flow with a more introspective, meditative practice. Furthermore, we'll integrate yoga asanas to harmonize the Anahata Chakra, promoting an atmosphere of unconditional love, compassion, and joy.
The session will continue with guided Yoga Nidra, allowing you to set or refine your intentions for the upcoming months and embody them through your practice.

Following our practice, we will come together to enjoy a vegan meal together. All ingredients are organic and gluten free. The menu is designed with the aim to further balance the Wood element
We will continue with candle gazing and meditation, providing an opportunity for introspection and contemplation on what we wish to cultivate and nurture in the upcoming season. As the light intensifies and the days lengthen, we will nourish the seeds of our aspirations and watch them flourish. This practice will incorporate mudras (hand gestures), mantras (seed sounds), and guided meditation, fostering a sacred environment for us to delve into the profound journey of joy within ourselves.
The session will conclude with Raw Chocolate and Berries Cake (contains fruit and nuts).

" Self-Love, Joy and Chocolate Day " on Sunday, February 18th, 2024
10.30 am -15.30 noon. Contribution £55

Practicing self-love is a very soothing practice that requires surrender and peace. It’s also an empowering act that gives us strength and courage. To sequence yoga poses for self-love, we will consider calming yoga poses combined with power poses. Within each posture, we will focus our mind and emotions to find a gentler, more loving way to be comfortable in your own skin. Our focus will be on harmonizing the Swadhisthana Chakra (facilitating play and the experience of healthy pleasure) and the Anahata Chakra (cultivating an environment of unconditional love, compassion, and joy).
We will continue with Yoga Nidra, a state of conscious deep sleep. This is a simple yet profound technique that unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness. It provides a space to lie down, listen and find yourself connecting with all that you are and everything that is, and it allows many problems of the body and mind find harmony and resolution.

Following our practice, we will come together to enjoy a Chocolate Joy-full vegan meal together. All ingredients are organic and gluten free. The Mayans regarded cacao as a "food of the Gods," believing that consuming chocolate had the power to unlock the doors of the heart and elevate consciousness – which are the goals of yoga. Packed with magnesium, chocolate helps the body’s muscles to relax. It also accelerates activity among the brain’s neurotransmitters, focusing your mind and leaving it open to meditation. • Starter: Enjoy a Cacao Nib Pesto paired with homemade bread. • Main: Indulge in a flavourful Bean, Butternut Squash, and Cocoa Chilli served with Quinoa. • Dessert: Satisfy your sweet tooth with a Raw Chocolate Cake, crafted with a delightful blend of raw cocoa, avocado, fruits and nuts. • Drinks: Enhance your dining experience with Cocoa and Herbal Teas, completing the meal with a touch of warmth and soothing flavours.

During our session, we will delve into the exploration of inner happiness through meditation. This practice will incorporate mudras (hand gestures), mantras (seed sounds), and guided meditation, creating a sacred space for us to connect with the profound journey of joy within ourselves.

" Balancing Elements and Setting Intentions " workshop on Sunday, January 14th, 2024
10.00 am -15.15 noon. Contribution £55

This is an elements of nature balancing workshop using pranayama, yoga postures, music, and visualization techniques to connect with nature and all around you. During this workshop you will be taken on a journey through yoga and meditation to connect you to the five elements of nature. You will be guided to explore the beauty and simplicity of each of the core elements; air, earth, fire, water and space, through a series of yoga movements and guided meditations. We will create individual sequences which combine Asanas(postures) and Mudras (hand gestures) for different elements and help balance them.
We will formulate a and meditate on Sankalpa ( “resolve” or "deep-seated commitment."). Unlike a New Year's resolution, which may be more externally focused and tied to specific outcomes, a Sankalpa is often seen as a statement that reflects one's true nature or a deeper, spiritual intention.. A Sankalpa practice will allow you to focus your mind, connect to your most heartfelt desires, and channel the energy within for those desires to be fulfilled, allowing you to re-align yourself with what matters most to you.
Following our practice, we will come together to enjoy a homemade vegan meal together. All ingredients are organic and gluten free.
The day will continue with candle gazing to help us concentrate and meditate. We will use fire meditation to feel free from past memories; let fire give us the energy to put our current plans into actions. We will use the fire to transform our vision/Sankalpa into reality.
We will finish the event with Organic Raw Cake (contains fruit and nuts) and tea

" Candlelit Yoga and Reflections " workshop on Saturday, the 9th of December,
2.30 pm -18.15 noon. Contribution £45

Together, we will practice in a beautifully candle-lit room. Our session will incorporate pranayama, yoga postures, relaxation, candle meditation, and visualization techniques, creating a space for you to connect with inner calm and balance. The gentle flow practice will offer the opportunity to slow down and tune in to what you need, leading to a restorative, ground-based practice. Emphasis will be placed on practices that enable the release of tensions on physical, mental, and emotional levels.
Our journey will then transition into Yoga Nidra, a state of conscious deep sleep that serves as a simple yet profound technique to unwind the nervous system and induce complete physical and mental relaxation, all while maintaining inner awareness. This segment provides an opportunity to lie down, listen, and connect with your true self and the world around you.
As we delve into a mental review of the past year, we aim to allow unresolved issues of the body and mind to find harmony and resolution. Candle gazing and meditation will be incorporated into this reflective process.
Following our practice, we will come together to share reflections on the past year while enjoying a delightful spread of organic, healthy cakes, mulled apple juice, and hot chocolate. This will include vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free choices to accommodate diverse preferences.

10:00- 12:45. Chakra balance workshop
This is a balancing workshop using pranayama, yoga postures, chanting, and visualization techniques to connect with your Chakras.
The workshop will guide you through an exploration into the 7 major chakras, the subtle energy centres that are closely associated with our physiological and emotional well-being.  It will offer a practical framework for understanding the chakras and providing tools and methods to help balance these energy centres.
For each chakra we will use Asanas(postures), Mantra (seed sound) and Mudras (hand gestures) to explore how we can use yoga to balance the energetic and subtle body. When energy becomes blocked in a chakra, it can trigger physical, mental, or emotional imbalances that can manifest in symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, lethargy, poor digestion, general feeling of not being well.
