Yoga workshop “Finding Balance in Change” - On Sunday, the 12th of October, 9.15am – 11.45 pm

The practice will include Pranayama (breathing exercises), Mudras (hand gestures), Asanas(postures), Yoga Nidra (relaxation) and Meditation to cultivate inner peace. Special focus will be given to restoring harmony in the Lungs and Large Intestine, the autumn organs responsible for "drawing in and letting go." In Eastern traditions, the lungs represent inward energy, openness, and positive thinking, while grief is their associated emotion. During autumn, nurturing the lungs becomes crucial for maintaining mental and emotional well-being. The large intestine, known as "The Drainer of Dregs," supports the release of physical and emotional burdens. We’ll explore postures that expand the chest and side body, encouraging deep, revitalizing breaths. We will continue with Yoga Nidra, a practice of conscious deep sleep that offers profound relaxation and harmony for the body and mind. It provides a space to lie down, listen and find yourself connecting with all that you are and everything that is, and it allows the mind to find harmony and balance. We will conclude with a candle gazing and mudra meditation, offering space for stillness, reflection, and a return to inner balance.
The session will continue with guided Yoga Nidra, allowing you to set or refine your intentions for the upcoming months and embody them through your practice. We’ll end the workshop with candle gazing to clarify vision and meditation to free mind from inner chatter allowing us to reflect on what we wish to grow in the season ahead.
